This natural seagrass belly basket is a hand-woven basket measuring 32 × 28 cm at its widest, with woven side handles. It gives loose kit a home in the van and folds flat when you want the floor space back.
Laundry, logs or loose kit
Use it as a laundry basket on the way to the campsite wash block, a log basket beside a wood burner, or a catch-all for shoes by the door. When you head off, fold it flat and tuck it behind a seat.
Natural seagrass varies a little in colour, which is normal. Do not leave damp laundry sitting in it for long; empty and air it so the fibres stay dry. For a larger basket in black, see the black seagrass belly basket.
