This black seagrass belly basket is a hand-woven 38 × 34 cm basket with woven handles on both sides. It holds blankets, shoes or laundry on a van floor, and folds flat when you need the space back.
A basket that folds when you need room
Roll the rim down to make it shorter for a bench or shelf, or leave it up for blankets and bulky jumpers. Grab the side handles to carry it out to the washing line or the campsite laundry. At home or on a long stay, it can also cover a plant pot.
When you are packing the van tight, fold it flat and slide it behind a cushion. Seagrass is a natural fibre, so keep it dry and protect it from water if a plant sits inside. For the natural version, see the natural seagrass belly basket.
