The Camper Van Cookbook

The Camper Van Cookbook: Life on 4 Wheels, Cooking on 2 Rings is Martin Dorey's book of recipes for small campervan kitchens, with recipes by Sarah Randell. It suits anyone cooking on a two-ring hob, a barbecue or a campfire.

Meals from a two-ring van kitchen

The recipes are written for compact kitchens, where space, pans and fridge room are limited. There are barbecue and campfire ideas too, for evenings when you cook outside.

Plan a few meals before a trip and write a shopping list from them, then cook along the way. Match each recipe to the cookware you carry and the cooking space your pitch allows. If your hob is the limit, a twin-burner camping stove gives you two rings outdoors.
