Bamboo Trivet Square

This square bamboo trivet gives hot pans, kettles and dishes somewhere to rest on a van worktop or camp table. At 20 x 20 cm and about 1 cm thick, it slips into a kitchen drawer between meals.

Protecting a small worktop from hot pans

Worktop space is tight in a van, and a hot pan straight off the hob needs a landing spot. The slatted trivet is made from 100% natural bamboo and gives heat-resistant protection to the surface underneath. It is light and durable, with a smooth finish.

Wipe it with a damp cloth after use and let it dry before it goes back in the drawer. At camp, it does the same job on a folding table. For a board to go with it, see our acacia chopping board.
