This dimmable plug-in cage light is a black industrial-style wall lamp with an E27 bulb fitting and an inline dimmer. It suits a van with mains sockets, such as on campsite hook-up, where you want a reading light without hard wiring.
A plug-in reading light for mains hook-up
Choose a Mug or Diamond cage shade, each with or without a bulb. The lamp takes a standard E27 bulb, so you can fit one you already like. The 4m cable lets you place the light well away from the socket, and the inline dimmer sets the brightness for reading or winding down.
It has a UK plug, so it needs a mains supply. Fix the lamp firmly and route the cable where it cannot snag or swing while you drive. If you would rather have a hanging light, see our 4m plug-in pendant light.
