Nylon Camping Hammock with Straps

The Anortrek camping hammock is a single-person parachute nylon hammock supplied with tree straps and a stuff sack. It packs small into the van and gives you somewhere to rest between walks or at a quiet pitch.

A hammock that packs into its own sack

At 280 × 140 cm, it is long enough to lie across rather than fold into. Parachute nylon keeps it light, and it packs into the stuff sack when you move on. The included tree straps mean you are not relying on old rope.

Choose two healthy, sturdy trees and check the site rules before you hang anything; some parks and campsites do not allow straps on trees. Keep it within the listed maximum load of 250 kg. Shake off leaves and let it dry before it goes back into the sack, so the van locker stays fresh. For more kit to take outside, browse our Off Grid camping gear.
